Sessions, Fees and Funding
We accept the 15-and 30-hour funding for eligible families. As Little Crickets at Argyle House School operates 50 weeks a year, we can ‘stretch’ these hours over each week that the nursery is open if your child attends all year. If we apply the government’s 15 hours of childcare to the 50 weeks that nursery is open, this equates to approximately 11 hours of funding per week. (Add 30 hours reference.)
Our parents usually need their child to spend more hours in the nursery than their funded hours allow. As such, we offer additional, non-funded hours to fit in with your schedule as part of morning or afternoon sessions.
As the government funding does not cover essentials and extras, parents will be asked to pay for these separately, in addition to any non-funded hours. Read on to find out more about essentials and extras.

Funding:
Early Years Free Entitlement (15 hours) is Government funding which pays for up to 570 hours/year of free education to all 3 & 4-year old children in England, from the term after their third birthday. This covers 15 hours per week. Parents may be able to access an additional 15 hours, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
Children aged three to under five years are entitled to early education-funded sessions.
Early Education Funding (EEF) is available from the term beginning after a child’s 3rd birthday.
We are registered with many companies that provide childcare vouchers as an alternative way to pay part of your fees. Please ask us for more information.
In order to get the sessions and days you require, early registration is highly recommended. Visit our admissions page to find out how to register and secure a place, or complete our enquiry form here.
